Type of memberships

Cosmetic science is a fascinating intersection of the disciplines of chemistry, physics, biology, physiology, and psychology. By integrating these fundamental areas, cosmetic science is able to advance our basic understanding of personal care and beauty, and the application of cosmetic science continually drives innovation across a wide range of markets and product categories. if you make the decision to join the Mecscc, then you’ll be joining over 5,000 other industry professionals. Member, Category A

A scientific degree plus more than 3 years of relevant work experience

Member, Category B

The Mecscc Diploma in cosmetic science plus more than 3 years relevant work experience

Associate

a scientific degree or the Mecscc diploma with less than 3 years of relevant work experience or more 7 years of relevant

Student

Student of related science approved by Mecscc (BSc, MSc or Ph.D)

Affiliate

Those who do not fulfill the above criteria but are involved in the industry.
